Clifford Burl Forbush
(August 13, 1927 - January 5, 2015)


CLIFFORD BURL FORBUSH, 87, of Huntington WV, died January 5, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with the Pastor Ron Burnsworth officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. He was born August 13, 1927 in Proctorville, OH, a son of the late James Lincoln and Cellas Villiars Forbush. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, Transportation Corps, in November 1945 and proudly and honorably served his country. He later became a self-employed brick mason until he retired to enjoy his hobbies of hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas Alexander and Elizabeth Catherine Fetty Villiars; his first wife, Ruby Juanita Adkins Hamby Forbush Sweeney; his second wife, Anna Belle Martin Howe Forbush; granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Forbush; grandson-in-law Ronald Dale Riner; two sisters and their husbands, Joyce Ann Forbush and Robert L. Summers and Hildegarde Rebadene Forbush and Elba Jasper McClellan. He is survived by two sons, Michael Forbush and Ronald Douglas and his wife Charlene Byrd Forbush; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, James L. and Judy Copley Forbush, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6-8 Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the funeral home.
