Obituary
Clint Centers, 80, of Huntington, WV,
passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Born on July 16, 1936 in Middletown, Ohio, he was a son of the late Willis
Centers and Vera Bago Centers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded
in death by his brothers, Frank and Tony Centers. Clint was a U.S. Army
Airforce Veteran and retired from the U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers. His
great sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him. Clint was a
loving husband, terrific father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother
and loyal friend to many. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gwynne
Centers of Huntington; children, Tony (Beth) Centers of Rancho Cordova,
California, Diana Garces of Oakville, Ontario, Canada and Dick (Monica)
Centers of Evansville, Indiana; half-sister, Mary Ann Centers of Ohio;
grandchildren, Justine, Jessica, Jacob, Hannah, Madison, Camryn, Aaron and
Megan; 13 great-grandchildren and his special four-legged companion,
Trixie. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, December 2,
2016 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn
Memorial Park in Huntington. The family will welcome friends after 11:00
AM on Friday.
