ROBERT "RANDY" PROCTOR

ROBERT R. "RANDY" PROCTOR, 57,
of Huntington, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at his
residence. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2016, at
Trinity Episcopal Church with The Rev. Jon Chip
Graves officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior in the
Church Parlor. Following the services at the church, friends are invited to
gather with his family at
The Union Pub and
Grill for a celebration of Randy's life. He was born September 22, 1958, in
Huntington, W.Va., the son of the late Charles and Katherine Godby Proctor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John
Michael Proctor. In the early '80s, Randy worked for Sullivan and Atomic
Distributing in Huntington. He later moved to Hilton Head, S.C., where he
lived for 25 years until his accident. While residing in Hilton Head, he
worked for Ben Arnold Co. In 2007, Randy returned to his hometown of
Huntington. In his spare time, Randy enjoyed spending time with family and
friends. Some of his favorite hobbies include golfing, listening to Motown
music and watching Marshall University football. Randy is survived by a
brother, Charles Woodson Proctor and his fiancee, Sheri Hopkins; a niece,
Christine Proctor; two great-nephews, Jonathan Major Duke and Jaxon Perry;
and a host of extended family and special friends. The family would like to
express a heartfelt thank you to his caregiver and lifelong friend, Beth
Louden, and her daughter, Paige Louden Wiggins. Those who wish may make
memorial contributions to Trinity Episcopal Church.
