| Obituary

Robin Lee Turner, 65, of Huntington,
WV rode off into the sunset with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January
7th, 2017. Born on July 20, 1951, Robin’s parents ignited his passion for
horses and hunting at an early age. Strong in his belief of patriotism,
Robin volunteered to fight for his country during the Vietnam War, serving
a tour of duty as a military policeman. Robin retired after twenty-three
years of dedicated service to the West Virginia Department of Highways
where he was a heavy equipment operator. His passion for horsemanship and
hunting as well as his integrity were all things to be admired by others.
Robin Turner was a true American cowboy and will be greatly missed by all.
Throughout his battle with cancer, he was loved and cared for by his wife,
Alison Wilks Turner, his children, Charlie Turner (Angela), Carmen Davis
(Jeremy), Matthew Turner, his grandchildren, and a host of many loyal
friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at
noon at Beard Mortuary. A procession will leave the funeral home at 1:15
for Graveside services at 2:00 p.m. at Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock, WV with
Robin’s longtime friend, Joseph (JD) Keller officiating. Military Rites
      will follow.
