LOUIS CHRISTIAN FRICKE II
(December 7, 1930 - May 17, 2017)



LOUIS CHRISTIAN FRICKE II, who was named after his grandfather, passed away on May 17, 2017, in Huntington, W.Va. He was born Dec. 7, 1930, the son of the late Louis Frederick and Ruth Agnes Kincaid Fricke. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Fricke Garner, and his only brother, Richard A. Fricke. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Kay Fricke; four daughters, Cynthia (Joel) Jones and Holly Fricke (Tim Stover) of Huntington, Rebecca (Mohammed) Elfallah and Tressie (Mikey) Clark of South Point, Ohio; stepchildren, Dr. Tim E. (Lee Ann) Hill of Huntington, Debra Hill Petty of South Point and best friend, Thomas P. Webb of Maplewood, NJ. He also leaves numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Louis attended Wittenburg University in Springfield, Ohio, where he was a member of the Dorm League fraternity, before returning to Huntington and graduating with a degree in Accounting from Marshall University. He was an accountant for his family-owned Fricke Pie Company then worked for McKesson & Robbins before establishing LCF Corporation and becoming a self-employed contractor. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the many family members, friends, staff and church family at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church and medical staff at Huntington Health & Rehab for their care and outpouring of Christian love during his illness. At his request, there will be no funeral service. Beard Mortuary is assisting the family.
