Emma Belle Williams Call
(June 23, 1920 - August 27, 2012)


Emma Belle Williams Call, 92, of 14043 Powder Drive, Carmel, IN went to be with her Lord Monday, August 27, 2012. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 30, 2012 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, with Rev Scott Hoppe officiating. Emma Belle was born June 23, 1920 to the late James Luther Williams and Effie Pitchford Williams in Buffalo, WV. Her husband of 42 years, James Leonard Call preceded her in death in1983, as well as her 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Emma is survived by her son, James L. Call II, his wife Patricia Ann of Carmel, IN; four grandchildren who she loved dearly, Julie Call Blair (Donald) of Birmingham, AL, Stephanie M. Call of Birmingham, AL, Christy Call Bowman (Michael) of Atlanta, GA, David Conway Call of Indianapolis, IN’ and a great grandchild whom she adored, Madison E. Blair of Birmingham, AL. She was a devoted Baptist as a member of the 20th street Baptist Church for over 60 years, which is now New Baptist Church. Joy was brought to her life as a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She will be deeply missed, yet frequently remembered. Friend may visit with the family after 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 30, 2012 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
