Rosemary Knight went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the age of 84. She was born Rosemary Wood, the youngest of six siblings, May 5th, 1932 in Huntington, WV to Frank Jackson and Maggie Zelma Pearson Wood. She married Bill Knight of Lesage on October 22nd, 1949. Together, they built a life and raised four children: Sandra Carroll, Bill Knight Jr., Rebecca Cazad, and Troy Knight. An expert jump-roper, sweet tea-lover, and talented cake-baker, Rosemary lived for her family. She was selfless and kind; she was funny and outgoing. She never missed a family gathering and hosted most of them herself. Nothing gave her greater joy than seeing everyone together laughing and having a good time. The matriarch of her family, she is survived by three of her four children, Bill Knight Jr., Rebecca Cazad, and Troy Knight; one daughter-in law, Terry Knight; one son-in-law, Mike Carroll; eight grandchildren and spouses, April Knight, Misty Knight, Ryan and Hilary Carroll, Gabe and Tiffany Carroll, Heather Cazad and Matt Sowards, Travis Knight, Ashton Knight, and Ashley Knight; and nine great-grandchildren. She's reunited with her parents, siblings, husband and eldest daughter in Heaven. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Friday, June 17, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Gordon L. Rutherford officiating. Entombment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit family 5:00-8:00 pm Thursday at Chapman's Mortuary
