James Robert Black, 81, of Huntington, widower of Daisy Annette "Sue" Black, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born June 29, 1938 in Huntington, a son of the late Ralph and Virginia Horn Black. One son, Robert Scott Black and one brother, Mike Black also preceded him in death. He was a laborer at Ashland Petroleum. Survivors include his grandson, Max Black; two sisters, Judy Poston and Delores Gundy; one brother, Ronnie Black all of Huntington; two sisters-in-law, Mary Black of Huntington and Beverly Edwards of Mt. Vernon, OH; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, July 12, 2019 at Chapman's Mortuary.
