Obituary



Teresa Rose Staggers, 63, of Huntington, wife of Robert E. Staggers, died Friday, June 7, 2019 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Chapman' s Mortuary with Rev. Lawrence Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Greenbottom Memorial Park. She was born February 7, 1956 in Huntington a daughter of the late James Oley and Laura Lucinda Collins Young. She was a former housekeeper with area motels. In addition to her husband, survivors include four sons, Joshua D. Young and wife, Anna Young of Huntington, Paul V. Weekley of Columbus, OH., Jeremiah E. Staggers of Huntington, and Joseph D. Staggers of Barboursville; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, James L. and Carla Young of Cannonsburg, KY., David R. and Debbie Young of Ona, and Leonard D. Young of Lesage, WV; two sisters, Carol A. Chapman and Mary A. Frantz, both of Glenwood; and six grandchildren, Ashley N. Jenkins, Jonathan C. Young, Justin D. Young, Autumn Weekley, James V. Weekley, and Jailyn R. Staggers. Friends may visit after 1:00 pm Wednesday at Chapman's Mortuary.
