John Theodore Wright, 54, of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020, in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born August 18, 1965 in Long Island, NY a son of Mildred Elizabeth Motschmann Levy of Florida, and the late John Theodore Wright. He was also preceded in death by a stepbrother, William Wright and a nephew, Blake Heron. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was a member of VFW Post 9738. He was a tax preparer for H and R Block. In addition to his mother, survivors include: his wife, Carla Ann McCallister Wright; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Nichole Wright and Randall Bishop of Huntington; a son and his fiancée, John Michael Wright and Ashley Stanley of Huntington; three grandchildren, Aaliyah Wright, Aerien Call and Aarika Call; one great granddaughter, Ava Wright; a sister, Elizabeth Betty; and a step sister, Shirley Marie Wright. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
