Opal Ann Rue


Opal Ann Rue, 73, of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. She was born June 16, 1948 in Lebanon, Oregon a daughter of the late Henry Thomas Fuquay and Opal May Williams Fuquay. She was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Waylen; two brothers, Tom Tallant and Jerry Tallant; and a sister, Melba Raby. She was retired. Survivors include: five children, Sheila Ford of Huntington, Gayla Beschorner (Donald) of Winchester, KY, Bobby Thomas (Tracy) of Branchland, WV, Tiffany Fernandez (Cameron) of Huntington, and Ebony Rue of Huntington; fourteen grandchildren, Tiara, Justen, Ryan (Roselynn), Dillen, Matthew, Angel, Antonio, Gabriel, Devyn, Lycoln, Abbey, Daesean, Teona, and Ari; a sister, Joyce Dillard of Nevada; and a brother, Johnny Tallant (Sue) of Arizona. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Cabell Huntington Hospital; the staff of St. Mary's Home Health; and the staff of the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House for their loving care. At her request, there will be no services. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
