Lena Imogene Wickline


Celebration of Life for Lena Imogene Blankenship Wickline, 92, of Huntington WV, was led by Jesus into her War Hero and Saintly Husband, T. R Wickline, arms after 17 months of separation after 72 years together on August 19, 2021. Lena was born and raised in Cabell County, WV in 1929 to Mammie Mearle Young Blankenship and Millard "Emmitt" Blankenship. She was one of 5 children and the last to depart. Aaron (infant) brother, Nina, Ivan and Mary Jane were awaiting her beautiful smile. Lena is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband, son in law Denny, and great granddaughter Kyla. Lena was a homemaker serving her children Teresa (Stephen) and Melody (Denny) her 5 grandchildren Denise, Greg (Betsy), Brian, Sarah (Gary) and Jessica (Scott). She was a great grandmother to Bryce, Morgan, Rilynn, Merritt, Raegan, Marlee, Courtney and a great great grandmother to Ariella, Eli, Jay. She had many nieces and nephews and friends from her lifelong membership to Riverview (Harmony) UMC. She had one very special "son" Randy Hauhn whom she loved dearly. A special thank you to Lindsey, Hayden at SMMC MICU and Marion, Tonya and Regina at Hospice of Huntington. Donna, Kayla, Sandy, Kathy, Sue, and Carolyn from Wyngate who cared for her. A celebration of Life will be held on Sunday 8/22/2021 at 1 pm at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Phil Wilson officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services per her request. Entombment to be at White Chapel in Barboursville, WV.
