Goldie Mildred Ross


Goldie Mildred Ross (Gill), 97, died October 17, 2021. She was born March 28,1924 in Hinton, WV to Samuel and Mintie Jane Gill.
After spending her youth in Hinton, Goldie moved to Charleston, where she married her husband Beldom. She built her family in Huntington, where she raised one son, Michael. Goldie worked as a pharmacist's assistant at Thrift Drugstore, as a cake decorator, and was a member of the Beverly Hills Woman's Club. She was an avid reader, a very special grandmother, and loved spending time with her family, preferably over one of her delicious meals.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Cynthia and Evelyn, both of Hinton. She is survived her son, Michael and very special daughter-in-law Jody, her grandchildren, Jessica and her husband Brent, and Derek and his wife Chessa, as well as her great granddaughter Charlotte, all of Huntington, and one sister, Josie, in Hinton.
