Brenda Kay Wilder


Brenda Kay Wilder, 63, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Williamson, WV. Born April 15, 1958 in Logan, WV, to the late William D. and Louella Wilder, gained her wings on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Calvin Wilder; a sister, Lou Ann Wilder; and a niece, Tenille Lovett. She joined Logan Street First Baptist Church at a very young age and served on the usher board. Brenda graduated from Williamson High School and retired from Wendy's Old Fashion Hamburgers, where she was a friend to all her customers. Always a smile and kind words for all. Leaving five sisters and three brothers to cherish her; Pauline Stokes of Huntington, Christine Wilder of Huntington, Beverly Wilder of Lexington, KY, Patricia Blackman of Williamson, WV, Shirley Wilder of Huntington, Anderson Wilder of Huntington, Walter Wilder of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Kenneth Wilder of Windsor Heights, IA. Brenda also leaves an aunt and uncle, Cora and Fred Hairston of Omar, WV. A celebration of her life will be at 1:00 pm on November 20, 2021 at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Maher, WV. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
