Obituary

Ellis Coolidge King, 84, of Huntington, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Services will be 2 pm Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington, with Rev. Cleo Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Ellis was born April 17, 1924 in Lincoln County, WV a son of the late Elisha W. and Lilly Mae Lucas King. He was a warehouseman for Unijax in Huntington. He had been an avid outdoorsman, loved playing the guitar and singing gospel music with his sons. He is survived by his loving wife Eva Bragg King of Huntington; three sons, Scottie (Nancy) King, Charles (Belinda) King and Carl King all of Huntington; one brother, Hurston George King of West Hamlin, WV; a very special friend, Jane Jobe of Huntington; six grandchildren, SherreeŒ Jones, Scott E. King, Jr., Erin R. King, Charles King Jr., Joshua King and Amanda Mulvaney; and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be from noon until service time at the funeral home.
