Chandra Lenae Spaulding
(December 20, 1978 - March 23, 2009)

Chandra “Nanny” Lenae Spaulding, 30, loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend departed her life here on earth Monday, March 23, 2009. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Full Gospel Assembly Church, Huntington with Rev. Samuel Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. Chandra was born December 20, 1978 in Huntington, WV a daughter of Donald R. and Madra D. “Tina” Gwinn. She was a graduate of Huntington School of Beauty Culture and was a very loving childcare provider. She raised numerous children of family and friends, for which she earned the nickname of “Nanny”. Chandra was a beautiful, charismatic friend and confidant to many. She was a passionate and talented songwriter and had a deep appreciation for music and art. In addition to her parents she leaves behind to cherish her memory; her brother, Michael T. Crawford; a niece, Kyra Adkins; a nephew, Bobby Crawford; three aunts, Constance Crawford, Lois J. Cleckley and Bonita V. Crawford; three uncles, Donald O. (Marsha) Crawford, Kenneth A. Crawford and Clarence E. Crawford, Jr.; a special cousin, Marijayne Crawford and her children, JayTerin, Dionna and Tevin Michael Crawford; a Godsister and best friend Nasheka J. Jobe; her Godbrother and best friend, Michael “Spank” Johnson; a great Godmother, Marcella Clayborn; a Godsister, LaTonya Clemons; special friends, Sasha Daniels, Jennifer Slash, Tracy Johnson and Chris Johnson. She will be deeply missed by her circle of friends and family that is too immense to fully mention. Visitation is from noon to 1 pm Saturday at the church. The care and service of Ms. Spaulding is under the direction of Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington.
