Virginia Pearl Ewing
(September 11, 1932 - November 2, 2010)

Virginia Pearl Ewing, 78, of Huntington passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. She was born October August 11, 1932 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of Samuel Meeks and Margaret Craig. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Meek; two sisters, Louise Cox and Leona Steinbrecher. She is survived by one daughter Donna Meeks (Jeff Daniels) of Huntington, WV, a daughter-in-law, Loretta Gibbs; three grand-children, Todd Gibbs, Richie (Amanda) Gibbs and a special grand-daughter Monica Gibbs (Fiancé Tommy Hill), and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with pastor E. S. Harper officiating. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
