Clemie E Carpenter
(May 21, 1919 - March 29, 2011)

Clemie Evalina Carpenter, 91 of Huntington, WV, went to be with the lord March 29, 2011, In Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born May 21, 1919, a daughter to the late John and Rosa Workman Hayes. She was retired nurse’s aid. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Carpenter, two daughters Lisa and Teresa, and four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by six sons Nathaniel (Marlene) of FL, Jay (Marlene) of OH, Clovis (Ruth) of Proctorville, OH, Jackie (Sue) of Huntington, WV, Shelton of AL and Kenneth (Mary) of AL, and three daughter’s Evelyn Ferris (Edward) of Proctorville, OH, Charlotte Miller of Huntington, WV and Beatrice Johnson (Timothy) of FL. 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday April 1, 2011, at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Pastor Raven Fields officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens; Barboursville, WV Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday March 31, 2011 at the funeral home.
