Joseph Earl Haas
(June 3, 1945 - March 25, 2011)

JOSEPH EARL HAAS JR., 65, of South Point, Ohio, went to be with the lord March 25, 2011, in King's Daughters Medical Center. He was born June 3, 1945, a son of the late Joseph Earl Haas Sr. and Mary Canterbury Haas. Joseph was a member of the American Legion Post 93 and a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Nellie Haas; two daughters, Josephine Dillard (Aaron), Melissa Dawn Haas (Randy McNeely); and a stepdaughter, Irene Angel Parsons (Charles), all of South Point; three brothers; one sister, 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Pastor Dewy Bias officiating. Burial will follow in Sherry Lynn Community Cemetery, Ranger, W.Va. Visitation will be Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
