Jeff David Dotson
(August 19, 1952 - August 5, 2012)

Davie was born July 19, 1952 in Huntington, WV. He was the son of the late Ollie Maud and John H. Dotson. He attended schools in Huntington and earned a GED. He was a member of the Living Sanctuary Church. He was presided in death by his parents John H. and Ollie M. Dotson, his brother Bobbie L. Dotson, Sr., his sister Rose M. Slash, and his daughter Tesa Brown. He is survived by his brothers Jerry D. Dotson, and John L. (Rose) Dotson of Huntington and Thomas S. (Denise) Dotson of Charleston, WV. Grandchildren: Antione Grant, Cieasha S. Brown and Thomas M. White, Jr. and a great grandchild Amauri N. Pope all of Huntington and many nephews, nieces, great nieces, family and friends. Davie was a good man. He was authentic, eccentric and kind. Davie was everyman's brother and friend. He was a proud Black Man and for real old school soul brother. A Celebration of his life will be 6:00PM Monday, August 13, 2012 in the Chapel of Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Bishop Gary l. Edwards, Officiating. The family will receive friends from from 5:00PM until the time of the service at the funeral Home .
