Roger Freelin Tomblin
(May 19, 1946 - August 21, 2012)

Roger Freelin Tomblin, 66 of Chesapeake, OH passed away Tuesday August 21, 2012 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Roger was born May 19, 1946 in Huntington the son of Lahoma Tomblin and the late Freelin Tomblin who preceded him in death in 2010. Roger had served in the U.S. Air Force and had retired as a Parts Pro Specialist from Advanced Auto Parts Store. In addition to his loving mother Lahoma Tomblin, he is survived by his loving wife Gloria Tomblin, two sisters; Janet Ann Simpkins and Teresa Lee Dial (John), eight children; Michael Seifried, Roger Tomblin Jr., Steven Tomblin, Jason Tomblin, Brandy Walker, Bill Adkins, Jimmy Adkins, and Ronnie Adkins, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A host of niece’s nephews and friends also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00am Friday August 24, 2012 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Huntington with Full Military Honors. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Funeral Home.
