Robert Lee Blevins
(February 16, 1932 - December 2, 2016)

Robert Lee Blevins, 84, of Huntington passed away December 2, 2016 at his residence. He was born February 16, 1932 a son of the late Samuel Blevins and Delphia Morelock Blevins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Avis June Blevins in 2010. Robert had been a Truck Driver and was a member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church. Survivors include one son; Terry Lee Blevins (Brenda); one daughter, Patricia Lynn Journell (Gene) both of Huntington; 5 grandchildren, Treva, Rob Journell, Kelly Beltz, Tara Cazad and Jason Blevins; 5 great-grandchildren, Katelyn Scarberry, Brittney Scarberry, Kaycee Scarberry, Owen Cazad and McKinley Shea. The family would like to thank caregivers Kandi Walters, Janet Fraley and Hospice of Huntington for the exceptional care they provided. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Rev. John Holland officiating. Family will welcome friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV.
