ObituaryHazel Elizabeth Burdette Hazel Elizabeth Burdette, precious infant daughter of William & April (Spurlock) Burdette of Barboursville, WV was born into the arms of Angels February 29, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Born at 40 weeks she weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz. and was 21 inches long. Although Hazel never took a breath on this earth she was still much loved and touched many lives. Hazel is greeted at Heaven’s gates by her grandfather, Stanford Burdette; great-grandmother, Hazel Landers and great-grandfather, Richard Spurlock. In addition to her parents, Hazel is survived by her grandparents, Hassie Burdette, John and Teresa Spurlock; aunts, Amber Spurlock and Lahoma Summers; uncles, Stanford Burdette, Jeremy Summers and John Burdette; cousins, Austin, Ariel, Julian, Dayton and Vinny; great-grandparents Carroll Perry (Mary), Kevin Maynard (Mary), along with many other aunts, uncles and cousins in William’s and April's families. William and April would like to thank Mary, Tabitha, Lilly, Mike, Casey, Tasha, Josh, Mark, Ann, Stacy, Zach, Jessica, Terri, Mahala and Nicholas for waiting at the hospital for Hazel’s birth. They would also like to thank Dr. Brian Bower and the nurses working the labor and delivery unit for being so compassionate and supportive through this very tough time. There will be a graveside service will be held 2:00p.m., Monday, March 7, 2016 at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington WV.
