Therisa Ray-Miller 75, of Huntington, WV passed away peacefully February 24, 2016 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born July 18, 1940 in Lawrence Co., KY. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Belcher and Elisie Tomblin-Belcher; first husband, Robert G. Ray; son, Elmer J. Ray; sisters, Alice Fay McComas, Bernice Lusk and Irene Lynch; and brother, John Belcher. Therisa was a caregiver for Heritage Center for many years. She leaves behind to mourn her loss, her loving husband, Ray Miller; daughters, Lynn Ray (Russ) of Mineral City, OH, Lora Miller (Edward) of Huntington; son, Jeff Ray (Robin) of Kenova; step-daughters, Janet Payton (Donzil) of Huntington and Lorretta Harmon (William) of Chesapeake, OH; and step-son, Kenny Miller (Sandy) of Barboursville. Also surviving is her sister, Melda Burroughs (Chip) of Raleigh, SC; and brother, Lawrence Belcher of Washington, D.C., 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, two special grandchildren; Brock & Chase Bybee and a host of nieces, nephew and more. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 27, 2016 with Rev. Eddie Parsons officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memorial Gardens. The family ask that any donations may be made to East Camden Park United Baptist Church.
