Christopher Scott Frye
(March 11, 1964 - September 8, 2016)

Christopher Scott Frye, 52, of Huntington, WV passed away September 8, 2016. He was born March 11, 1964 to parents Ronald Frye and Donna Crafton. He is preceded in death by his biological father; his step father, Charles Jarvis; grandparents, Romie and Lousie Frye and Beverly L. Gentry; sister, Lora L. Rowe; cousin, Mark Frye; nephew, Wesley Rowe and Chris’; close friends, Dale Kirk and Brian Midkiff. Chris was a Baptist, a graduate of Barboursville High School, class of 1983, attended Marshall University and a salesman at Dutch Miller for many years. He was known by many as “Papaw”. He leaves behind to mourn his passing; his mother, “Skippy” Donna Jarvis of Huntington; wife, Angela Frye; step family: Alli Litton of Ashland, KY, Adam Plybon of South Point, OH and Billie Burks of Chesapeake, OH and grandson, Silas Frazier. Also surviving; step brother, Ronnie Jarvis (Amy) of Michigan and their children, Ronnie, Jr. and Shaun; uncle, John Frye of Washington, D.C.; half-brothers, Ricky and Gary Frye; special nephew, David Rowe (Leslie) and their children, Allyssa and Brianna; aunt, Phyllis Haegele of Scottsdale, AZ; a special friend, Sherry Spencer and cousins, John and Michelle Frye and Nicholas Magliocca. Tri-State Cremation Society and Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family. There will not be any services held at this time.
