Doris J. Hale
(November 2, 1954 - September 24, 2016)

Doris Hatten Hale, 61, of Huntington passed away September 24th, 2016 at The Doug and Lucy Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. She was born November 2, 1954 in Huntington, West Virginia; a daughter of the late Archie Hatten and Geneva Farmer Hatten. Doris was a Homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 21 years, Colbert Hale; and one granddaughter, Savannah Marie. She is survived by six children; Geneva Preston, Colbert A Hale, Andrew Summers, William Hale, Jonathan Hale and Sarah Cole. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Wesley Patrick, Dylan Patrick and Aimee Patrick, and one great-granddaughter Melanie. Services will be private at the request of the family. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington is assisting the family.
