Cecil Roy Rowe

   69 went to be with his Lord and savior on March 16, 2021 at the Wayne Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, in Wayne WV

   Cecil was born April 13^th, 1951.  He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Arlene Burton Rowe.  They have 4 children, Cecil (Brenda) Rowe Jr, Amanda Rowe, Julie (Matt) Shelton and Amy Rowe; 8 beloved grandchildren, Abigail (Cody) Marcum, Joshua Copley, Katie Shelton, Katrina Shelton, Allison Isaacs, Cameron Isaacs and Benjamin Midkiff; 3 cherished great grandchildren, Blake Asbury, Aubree Asbury, and Ainslee Marcum and a host of special nieces and nephews, family and friends.  Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie (Marshall) Rowe and Andy Rowe and his grandson Dallas Andrew Rowe. Cecil loved spending time with his family; he also liked cutting firewood and weed eating. He was happy being home, spending time at his serene home at the top of the mountain, where his view was beautiful trees, West Virginia mountains and wildlife.  Cecil had a smile that would light up a room and you knew you were always welcome at his home. He retired from many years in the timber business. 

   A Memorial service honoring Cecil will be conducted 11:00 A.M, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at The Gospel Tabernacle in Wayne, WV with Pastor Roger Maynard officiating. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington, WV is honored to assist the family.
