Obituary

BENJAMIN ROY COLEMAN SR., 84, of Milton, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2004, in Heritage Center Genesis Eldercare, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. Benjamin R. Coleman III and Minister Dearl Hutchison officiating. Burial will follow in Wallace-Coleman Cemetery, Milton. Benjamin was born December 18, 1919, a son of the late Arthur R. and Sylvia A. Wallace Coleman. He is also preceded in death by his beloved wife Rosalie George Coleman; two sisters and brother-in-law, Zelma and Calvin Edmonds and Ann Ellen Foster; one brother; William Coleman. Benjamin retired from International Nickel as a machinist. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Benjamin R. Coleman Jr. and his wife Nancy of Chesapeake, Ohio, Bruce A. Coleman and his wife Linda of Milton and Brian M. and his wife Debrah of Naples, Fla.; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Beuford Coleman and his wife Ella May of Lesage, Arthur Coleman Jr. and his wife Florence of Milton and Carol Coleman of Milton; two sisters and brother-in-law, Ethel Gibson of Los Angeles, Calif., and Orma Venatter and her husband Robert of Hurricane. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Beth Rowe and her husband Tim, Benjamin R. Coleman III and his wife Ramona, Brooke Coleman, Bruce Coleman Jr., Shawn Coleman and his wife Jessica, Tami Henson; 12 great-grandchildren and a very special niece, Carol Cobb and her husband Brent and their son Jerod. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
