Obituary

Phyllis Jean Powers, 66, of Hurricane passed away Sunday, August 21, 2005 in Putnam general Hospital, Hurricane.   Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Winford Curry officiating.   Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.   She was born July 6, 1939 in Huntington, WV.   She is survived by her husband, Lewsi E. Powers and one son, Lewis E. Powers, Jr. of Ona.   Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 23 at the funeral home.
