Obituary

DORIS JEAN PAYTON STOWASSER, 69, of Hurricane, wife of William "Bill" Stowasser, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2005, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Buddie Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery. She was born May 19, 1935, a daughter of the late Harrison and America Thompson Payton. She was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Bill Cart; one daughter, Alice Cart; one stepson, Greg Stowasser; one stepdaughter, Pamela Stowasser; one sister, Dearlene Moore; and eight grandchildren, Wayne Hatfield, Walter Hatfield, Michelle Hysell, Renee Hysell, Kevin Cart, Kimberly Cart, Kristy Black and Kenneth Cart.
