Obituary

BILLY LEE SPURLOCK, 74, of Culloden passed away Friday, January 20, 2006, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2006, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery, Hurricane. Billy was born February 16, 1931, in Kanawha County, a son of the late Homer and Allie Clara Runion Spurlock. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Howard "Pooch" Spurlock and Charles "Mike" Spurlock; one sister, Margie Gartin. Billy served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by loving companion Jetta Neil; one son, Billy Spurlock II; three sisters, Kathryn Fabry, Dortha Handley and Wilma Faulkner; three grandchildren, Billy Spurlock III, Joe Spurlock and Alisha Spurlock; special friend and caregiver, Earlene Anglin.
