Obituary

Denver Nutter,88, of Culloden, went to be with his Lord on Monday, July 10, 2006 in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation, after a long illness.  Funeral service will be conducted 11 AM, Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton,.  Burial will follow in Culloden Cemetery.  He was born September 29, 1917 in Wirt County, WV, a son of the late Ralph and Dolly Jones Nutter.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Avery and infant son, Ronald.  He was a retired welder with Union Carbide after over 30 years of service.  He was a member of the Church of God, Hurricane.  He is survived by his loving wife and caregiver, Della Frances Nutter; two sons, Roger Nutter and his wife, Darla of Pennsylvania, Wayne Nutter and his wife, Debbie of Culloden; two daughters, Barbara Lewis and her husband, John of Milton and Sara Hoback of Lexington, SC; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Huntington, Huntington Health and Rehabilitation, and Penny Conner , caregiver, for their excellent care.  The family also requests donations be made to Hospice of Huntington.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM, on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Heck Funeral Home.
