Obituary

Margaret  Sue Ball Flora, 64, of Milton, West Virginia and wife of James Flora, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 27, 2006 following a heart attack suffered at home on Monday night. She died in St. Mary’s Hospital, Huntington.

            Born in Milton on March 29, 1942 to the late Lee A. and Helen Hunt Ball, Sue attended Milton public schools and St. Joseph Catholic High School. She was self-employed as a certified home care nursing assistant.

            She is survived by children Chris Lavender of Surfside Beach, SC; Patrick J. Lavender and wife, Tammy of Lancaster, OH; Della Suzette Rudd and husband, James of Lakeland, FL; and James Lavender of Milton; grandchildren Trey, Kayla and Kerrigan Rubble and Hannah Rudd of Lakeland; Austin Stevens, Patrick Joseph Lavender, Jr. and Erin McCoy of Lancaster; special aunt, Margaret Johnson of Pickerington, OH; brothers, Robert L. Ball of Milton and Thomas L. Ball of Barboursville; nieces and nephews; and two special friends of the family, Jason Taylor and Kevin Abram, both of Lancaster.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Catherine Joan Davis, and brother, Jerry R. Ball.

            Friends may call this evening at Heck Funeral Home, Milton from 6 to 8 p.m. Mass and Christian burial is Saturday, 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Huntington with interment in Forest Memorial Cemetery, Milton.
