Obituary

Versie A. Smith, 91, of Milton, formerly of New Matemoros, OH passed away Monday, September 4, 2006 in Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation of Putnam, Hurricane, WV.  Graveside service will be conducted 11 AM, Thursday, September 7, 2006 at Forest Memorial Park, Masoleum Chapel.  She was born January 31, 1915 in Beaver, WV a daughter of the late Roscoe C. and Virginia G. Hall.  She was also preceded in her death by her husband, Robert Smith; her son, Curtiss Adkins; four sisters, Mary F. Hall, Willadean Hall, Louise Guffey, and Virginia I. Johnson; three brothers, Marvin O. Hall, William H. Hall, and Eddie Joe Hall; two sisters-in-law, Ella J. Hall and Irene Hall.  She is survived by her sister and brother-in ?law, Betty Jean and Bernard Herron of Akron, OH; two brothers-in-law, Bill Guffey of Grant, Alabama and Joe Johnson of Milton; one sister-in-law, Betty L. Hall of Akron, OH; her nieces and nephews.  Friends may call from 10 to 11 AM on Thursday at Forest Memorial Park, Mausoleum Chapel
