Obituary

Arthur Clinton Gottshall, 78, of Milton, went home to be with his Lord Thursday, February 22, 2007 in Sunbridge Care & Rehab for Putnam.  Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Rob Laukoter officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  Arthur was born October 15, 1928 in Cabell County, a son of the late Thair Urias and Blanche Bassett Gottshall.  He served his country in the United States Army during the World War II and Korean Conflict.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 177 and a member of the VFW. He retired from Huntington Alloys after 35 years of service.  He is survived by his loving wife, Velma E. “Jean” Cruce Gottshall; one daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Alan McDermott; two grandsons, William Arthur McDermott and Adam Lawrence McDermott.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
