Inez
Lucas, 81, of
Milton reunited with the Lord, her beloved
husband, Bradie R. Lucas, her son, Larry D. Lucas and her daughter, Linda S.
Sheppard on Monday, February 19, 2007 in St. Mary’s
Medical
Center,
Huntington.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2007 at
Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. David Vickers officiating.
Burial will follow in
Portersville
Cemetery, West Hamlin.
She was born May 19, 1925 in
Cabell County,
WV, a daughter of the late
William and Saba Vance. She was also preceded in death
by nine brothers, six sisters and one son-in-law. She
was a member of the
Portersville
Baptist
Church.
Inez is survived by her loving daughters and sons-in-law, Dottie
Finley of Milton; Carol and Gary Adkins of Hamlin; Sandra and Alan Dailey of
Milton and Danny Sheppard of West Hamlin; two brothers, Grant Vance of
Milton and Kenneth Vance of Columbus, OH; one sister, Winnie Coyer of St.
Albans; grandchildren, David and Shelia Finley, Bruce Finley, Kris and
Teresa Chapman, Marsha and Kelly Goodpaster, Krystal Dailey and Tyler
Dailey; and five great grandchildren, Annie Finley, Ashley Finley, Jeremy
Finley, Seth Goodpaster and Dalton Brady Chapman.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 21st at the
funeral home.
