Obituary

Jesse David Hobbs, 83, of Milton, formally of Cincinnati, OH, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2007 at his step-daughters residence.   Jesse was born April 24, 1924 in Manchester, KY., a son of the late, Charles and Mabel Maggard Hobbs.  He is also preceded in death by one son, John Hobbs; three brothers, Charlie, Bob and Paul Hobbs; one sister, Lee.  He served his country in the United States Army during World War II and was a Bronze Star recipient. He was also a member of the Ohio Horseman Association.  He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Hobbs; one son, Jesse David Hobbs Jr.; one daughter, Lois Ann Jones and her spouse, John all of Ohio; one step-daughter, Joan and Gary Freeman of Milton; one-step son, Billy and Jeanne Treciak of Tenn.; two brothers, Jack Hobbs of KY. and David Dillard of OH.; two sisters, Patsy of KY. and Mabel of Ohio; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
