Obituary

Maudie Mae Edmunds, 75, of Milton, with her family by her side, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 17, 2007 in St. Mary's Medical Center.  Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Paul Meadows officiating.  At her request her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.  Burial will follow in Buas Chapel Cemetery.  She was born November 16, 1931 in Milton, a daughter of the late James and Nellie Clagg Legg.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Edmunds; two grandchildren, Matthew Mount and Janice Noel;  one great grandson, Jordan Browning.  Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-laws; Sandy and Junior Cremeans and Linda and Richard Mount, both of Milton, and Doris Noel of Ona; two sons and daughters-in- law, Jimmie and Rosie Edmunds and Denver and Marilyn Edmunds, both of Milton.  Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.  She leaves behind nine grandchildren, Jason Cremeans, Trudy Clagg, Brett Mount, Misty Clagg, Jeremy Childers, Carrie Browning, Jessica Noel, Josh Edmunds and Luke Edmunds; five great grandchildren, Whitlee Clagg, Austin, Lucas and Emma Childers and Natalie Browning.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
