Obituary

Richard Donovan “Donnie” Payton, 46, of Culloden passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at his residence.  Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Brother Roman Brown officiating.  Entombment will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  He was born 1960 in Milton, WV a son of Aaron and Jean Brown Payton of Culloden.   He was a 1978 graduate of Milton High School and attendant Hocking Technical College for four years.  He was a local business owner.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Donovan Payton of Culloden; step daughter, Cathy Bowyer of Pikeville, KY; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Amy Payton of Huntington; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sherry Cupp of Milton and Kandel and Danny Cain of South Point, OH; nephews, Oak Cupp and Chris Valerio; nieces, Elizabeth Payton and Sarah Brooke Markins; great niece, McKenzie Cupp; and a host of friends.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 PM on Friday, March 23, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home.
