Obituary

Ernest Lee Adkins, 60, of Milton, passed away Monday, December 31, 2007 at his residence.  A memorial service will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Doug Bragg officiating.  Ernest was born September 6, 1947 in Wayne County a son of the late Ernest Adkins…  He is also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Karl E. Sindy.  He was the former Vice President of the West Virginia Association of the Deaf.  He is survived by his mother, Rosella Adkins; his wife, Violet “Schoolcraft” Adkins; three daughters, Cindy “CJ” Pinterich, Robin LeAnn Sindy and Catherine Adkins-Begley; one son, Mark Adkins; one brother, Larry Adkins; one sister, Patricia Zimmerman; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.  In lieu of flowers family has requested donations be sent to the Huntington Postal Credit Union.
