Obituary

Wilma Geneva Chapman, 73, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.  Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Gary Patton officiating.  Burial will follow in Maddox-Swann Cemetery.  She was born October 15, 1934 in Lincoln County, a daughter of the late Johney and Percilla Maddox Stratton.  She is also preceded in death by one son, Mark Chapman; three brothers, Ivan, Eugene and Okey Stratton.  She is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Jack and Ann Chapman, Rick Chapman and Randy Chapman; two sisters, Betty Bledsoe and Bonnie Morrison; one brother, Ronald Stratton; eight grandchildren, Christie Preston, Mike Chapman, Miranda Chapman, Jay Chapman, Josh Chapman, Cassandra Chapman, Mason Chapman and Joseph Chapman; five great grandchildren, Emma, Joel, Trey, Cheyenne and Braden; special friend and daughter-in-law, David and Lisa Chapman Cisowski.  Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
