Obituary

Everett “Bid” Clagg, 77, of Milton passed away Friday, June 27, 2008 at his residence.  Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. Caudle Adkins officiating.  Burial will follow in WhiteChapelMemorialGardens, Barboursville.  He was born March 30, 1931 in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late Albert and Mary Frances Wilson Clagg.  He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Clagg ad one sister, Almeda Hickman.  Mr. Clagg served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion Post 139.  He is survived by his wife, Anna Ruth Stratton Clagg; three sisters, Rosa Hickman, Evelyn Meadows and Wanda Chapman all of Milton; one brother and several nieces and nephews.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2008 at the funeral home.
