Obituary

Tava C. Nimmo, 93, of Marietta, GA, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009 at home.  Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Claude Spurlock officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  She was born July 12, 1915 in Putnam County, WV, a daughter of the late Amos and Delilah Carpenter.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Omer Nimmo; one daughter, Charlotte Bain and seven brothers and sisters.  She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Kagley of Charleston, WV and Linda Parrish of Marietta, GA; one sister, Lena McKinley of Charleston, WV; one brother, Carl Carpenter of Dunbar, WV; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
