Obituary

Martha Delcie Williams, 99, of Culloden, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 22, 2009, only 10 days before her 100^th birthday, in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Claude Spurlock officiating.  Burial will follow in Culloden Cemetery.  She was born May 2, 1909 in Elkview, WV, a daughter of the late Ernest and Julia Carter Pauley.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil C. Williams; two sons, Billy R. and Ivan C. Williams and several brothers and sisters.  Mrs. Williams was a Christian by faith.  She is survived by one grandson, Jeffrey Williams of Milton and one daughter-in-law, Anna Williams of Poca.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
