Obituary

Naomi Ruth Cobb Stanley, 81, of Milton, passed away Friday, March 20, 2009 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.  Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Monday, March 23, 2009 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Minister Willie Purdee officiating.  Burial will follow in Morrison Cemetery, Salt Rock.  She was born February 28, 1928 in Logan Co., WV a daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude Wagoner.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Stephen Allan Stanley; brothers, Robert, Charles, and Austin Wagoner; sister, Virginia Watson.  She was a former nurse’s aid for 25 years with Morris Memorial Nursing Home.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Delmar, Jr. and Cindy Stanley of Milton; sister, Dorothy Harbour of Salt Rock; grandchildren, Melanie (Everett) Laverty, Monica Stanley and her companion, Amy Hazelett, Darin Stanley and his fiance, April Billups; great grandchild, Dru Stanley; special little buddy, Tavern Andrew; special sister-in-law, Kathleen Wagoner; host of special nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
