Dorothy V. Templeton
October 30, 1923 - April 21, 2010

Dorothy V. Templeton, 86, wife, mother, teacher and friend, of Milton completed a long and faithful journey April 21, 2010 gently in peace. She joins those who loved her and went before. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Mark Finley officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. She was born October 30, 1923, the daughter of the late Tom and May Clagg. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Templeton. She was a retired school teacher. She is survived by her son, Gary Templeton of Milton; three daughters, Barbara (Joe) Browning of Jacksonville, FL, Rita (Ed) Petty of Milton and Genene (Scott) Bledsoe of Milton; grandchildren, Derek, Laura and Whitney Spangler, Kristen Alford, Brad (Kristie) Browning, Amanda (Paul) Wood and Jeremy (Ariel) Bledsoe; great grandchildren, Zoee, Marlee, Tayte, Brooklyn, Lily and Conley; three sisters, Dollie Rosia, Nellie Ross and Ann Kolarick; and two brothers, Thurman “Eugene” and Harold Clagg. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2010 at Heck Funeral Home.
