Clifford Carroll Gibson
(December 31, 1938 - July 28, 2010)

Clifford Carroll Gibson, 71, of Milton, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010 after a short illness in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Ray Sovine officiating. Burial will follow in Ball Cemetery, Kilgore Creek, Milton. He was born December 31, 1938 in Milton a son of the late Cline and Clara (Davis) Gibson. He is survived by his wife of almost 48 years, Eunice Kay (Akers) Gibson; four daughters, Carol and David Smith, Ruth and Phil Jenkins, Mary Smith, and Georgette McNeese; one son, Sherman “Butch” and Robin Gibson; eleven grandchildren; one great grandson; three sisters, Wilma Bird, Faye and Don Cobb, and Maxine Bowen; two brothers, Glen and Betty Gibson and Lester “Doug” Gibson; many nieces and nephews; two new and special friends, Josh Burden and Philip Skeens. Special thanks to Dr. Rebecca Wolfer and Dr. Rene Cox. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gibson Memorial Fund #6678696, Ohio Valley Bank, Milton, WV 25541. There will be no visitation.
