Obituary
Opal Mae Johnson, 86, of Glenwood, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at her home. Funeral service will be conducted at NOON on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Carl Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. She was born November 4, 1924 in Cabell Co., WV a daughter of the late Pricie Flonor and Oakley Mae (Lusher) McComas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Johnson; sister, Evelyn Coffman; brothers, Raymond and Robert “Earl” McComas. Opal was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by all. She formally worked at Quality Fruit Packing Co. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Shuller) Hedrick of Culloden, Diana (Gene) Huff of Barboursville, Brenda (Bob) Black of Catlettsburg, KY, and Debbie (Carl) Napier of Huntington; her sons, Jimmy (Becky) Johnson and Tony (Angela) Johnson both of Glenwood; sisters, Rose “Helen” O’Neil of Barboursville, Janet Clark of Huntington, and Maxine McSwain of Texas; 29 grandchildren; 70 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
