Kenneth “Trueman” Scarberry, 81, of Milton, passed away Tuesday,
August 5, 2014 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. A graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, August
7, 2014 at Forest Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Milton. Trueman was born
April 17, 1933 in Ona, WV, a son of the late Ira and Bertha Blake Scarberry.
He was also preceded in death by six brothers and one sister. He was a
retired school bus driver for Cabell County after more than 30 years of
service. He is survived by his loving wife, Garnet Adkins Scarberry; two
sons and daughters-in-law, Dana and Annette Scarberry of Sissonville, WV and
Jeffrey and Rhonda Scarberry of Atlanta, GA; two daughters and sons-in-law,
Teresa and Ed Smith of Greeneville, TN and Pamela and Mike Hughes of Milton;
five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Davis and
Colleen Scarberry; and one brother, Ray Scarberry. Visitation will be held
on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
