Obituary
(Harold) Franklin Shaffer,
76, of Ona, formerly of Manchester, MD and Huntington, entered into eternal
peace and rest. He was born August 23, 1938, the son of John H. and Bertha
Kingery Shaffer. Frank was a Registered Nurse, a graduate of St. Mary’s
School of Nursing and Our Lady of Peace Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was
preceded in death by his parents and Barton Seig, his loyal and true friend
of over 51 years. He is survived by a brother, Adren “Toots” Shaffer and
Adren’s wonderful wife, Judy; sister, Della Shaffer Blake and her husband,
Eustace; and two lifelong friends, Marjorie Ruth Caldwell and Carol Ann
Caldwell of Ona. Frank expressed his wishes to spend his final days back
home in the beautiful state of West Virginia. Burial will be in Bicker
Cemetery, Barker Ridge Road. Heck Funeral Home, Milton is in charge of
arrangements. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April
8, 2014 with visitation to be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

they showed Frank.
